Racism is affordable, is trending. art….fashionable, comes color-coordinated, affixed to Hawaiian torches, brandishing firearms and teaching certificates; it is pick-up trucks confederate talk burning the roof hanging niggers and prejudice like tinsel in rear views; Google memos posted parallel to reverse racism paraphernalia pretending to empower; go to school share a church burn a church how much tar how much coal for blackface — I am asking for a fr end a ne ghbor a pr est a Cathol c a Chr st an. Charlottesville no different than 60's Carolina 50's Memphis 65' Hoover. Cut your nose change your last name from Horowitz to Howard you can be Anglo-Saxon for a day bleach your skin you can pass for blue collar for mailman for banker for lawyer now.

Brand of racism, tender hands, wonders who does your hair asks to borrow your acrylics praises your athleticism shuns Kapernick shuns Kapernick shuns Kapernick bans Vick praises always praising the lighter version opposite stand or kneel or bend over please please we need more whips we need more evidence reparations I do not want to pay for ghosts affirmative action why are they in our schools who endorsed busing this neighborhood is different where is his birth certificate they look like hoodlums I like the way you dance can you show me? Stick to rapping to raping our women they may say; they may say nothing; it is so subtle, so soft…it makes me wish for water hoses for outlandish hate for overt hate for suppressing votes for colored signage decking halls during Christmas parades, Christ hanging next to Emmitt, bullet holes by Hampton.

It can happen again.

It already has.

It already is.
